I am a Self Taught, Fine Art, Portrait Photographer living and working in Newport RI for over 25 years.

Fine art defined is a visual art considered to have been created for aesthetic purposes and judged for it’s beauty and meaningfulness, this is how I portray my style of photography to come across in my images. I tend to lean more so on the emotional and the dramatic. A lot of my technique is drawn from the lighting, color and style of the 1920’s, and the 1930’s. I’m known for always working in black and white using many tonal ranges from sepia to antique to vintage black and white.

I consider my style of photography to be a bit more unconventional and less traditional with a twist. Working with children and animals can be a challenge, but I find it very inspiring and they motivate me with there free spirit and innocence.
